I don't call myself an artist. Even if facebook says different. But I do draw and there is one question that i hate when I hear it. Everytime I've drawn something, not only a person but a lot of different things like a chair for example, everytime I hear this: "Who or what is it?"
Why is that so annoying? Firstly if I drew something I hope that it looks in a way that everybody knows what it is. Secondly it's not important what the picture shows but how is it made. I care about the honest opinion what I've done.
Even if someone tells me that my solid looks like a downhill to mine or something... Well that's the honesty. But there is a small number of people who dare tell what they actually think. The others want to be nice and they just don't say anything. They don't want to make me sad and they just give me a colsolation smile.
And if you do ask me 'What this picture shows?' It was going to be an information station for tourists. But maybe these trees has ruined a general sensation that this place could be filled with thousands of people. Or maybe somewhere in the mountains?
